The Blood of Dawnwalker Editions Compared

Compare Standard, Day One, Eclipse, and Collector's Editions by game format, digital extras, physical items, upgrade path, and early-access status.

The Blood of Dawnwalker has four announced editions: Standard, Day One, Eclipse, and Collector's. Every edition includes the full game and shares the September 3, 2026 release date. Choose by the extras you will actually use, not by an expectation of early access.

The preorder armor can accompany eligible orders, but it is a purchase-timing benefit rather than a fifth edition. See the separate preorder guide for eligibility and retailer checks.

What does the Standard Edition include?

Standard includes the complete game without the Eclipse digital bundle or Collector's physical items. It is the direct choice when the game itself is the priority.

What does the Day One Edition include?

Day One is a physical first-print package containing the game, a Steelbook, and a printed map of Vale Sangora. It does not include the Eclipse digital compendium, comic, or soundtrack.

“Day One” describes the package, not when it unlocks. It does not grant early access.

What does the Eclipse Edition include?

Eclipse includes the full game plus:

  • Digital World Compendium;
  • Digital Comic Book;
  • Digital Soundtrack.

These are setting, art, and music extras. The published edition list does not describe an exclusive quest line, gameplay expansion, or advance-play period.

What does the Collector's Edition include?

Collector's combines the Eclipse digital bundle with physical items that include the Steelbook, printed world map, a physical World Compendium, a gold-laminated sticker set, and a PureArts Coen figurine in a collector box.

Availability, platform format, shipping destination, and the exact SKU can vary by retailer. Check the product listing rather than assuming every regional Collector's package is identical.

Can Standard or Day One be upgraded to Eclipse?

The official edition guide says the Eclipse digital content can be purchased later as an upgrade for Standard or Day One. Confirm the upgrade listing on your chosen platform before relying on regional price or compatibility details.

Which edition fits you?

  • Pick Standard if you only need the full game.
  • Pick Day One if the physical Steelbook and map matter to you.
  • Pick Eclipse if the digital lore material and soundtrack justify the extra cost for you.
  • Pick Collector's only if you specifically want the figurine, book, and limited physical package.

There is no universal “best value” edition because the useful extras depend on whether you prefer digital reference material or physical collectibles.

Does any edition include early access?

No announced edition includes early access. All four editions share the same official release date. For bonus eligibility, stock, regional price, and where to place an order, continue to the preorder guide.
